After far too long creeping about a wild flower meadow trying to get photos of butterflies and ending up with nothing but blurs and streaks at the little buggers zipped away just as I got close enough, I gave up. A very obliging Bumblebee decided to pose for me instead so here he is. Scrambling up what must have seemed to him a never ending column of flowers like a furry Jack and the beanstalk. Anyone got any tips for photographing butterflies that don’t include sticking them to flowers with glue or pins?
