Went for a little low light graveyard shoot last night on the way home from the office. This headstone was lit by a spot light that was just perfectly positioned so that it didn’t hit the ground. In post I dropped it to greyscale, applied that purple wash technique to the already well lit stone, dropped the overall exposure a little and that’s all. If your monitor contrast is set properly then you should see the grass, the outlines of the other head stones in front and detail in the grass.
