Marching Trees – Daily Photo (5th December 2012)

Marching Trees

I couldn’t help noticing that the trees in the field almost looked like they were walking, well if you let your imagination run riot anyway. I wanted to frame the view of the frost covered field and woods shrouded in mist with the trees. From this position I could expose for the bright sunlight reflecting off the frost and mist which in turn meant the trees, fence, branches and shadows would be deep black and silhouetted, forming the perfect frame for the small window out over the field.
