Got the first chance this Autumn to get out on a clear frosty morning today and the 6am start paid off. This shot was taken using the blank sky to create a crystal white backdrop. I exposed for the thistles and knocked it back a notch just so the sky didn’t blow completely. To get the final product I upped the fill light just a little to compensate for the under exposure and tweaked the white balance to get a slightly warmer look.
